Lempuyang temple is one secret Hindu temple, located in Tista Village, Abang District, Karangasem Regency. This temple is also known as the Gate of heaven after many visitors came and use it as a background for their romantic photos. The area where you find this gate is the central yard of the Lempuyang temple area. On this yard, you will find 2 unique gates;

Candi Bentar is a split gate, a gate that separated from one another. This gate is a connecting gate from the outer yard of the temple to the middle yard. It is often used as a photo booth by visitors, with a background of Mount Agung. 

Candi Kurung / Gelung Kori is another temple gate that connects the middle yard with the main yard where the pilgrims come to pray. This gate consists of 3 doors, each door has a stair to go up to the main yard of the temple. These stairs are made in the form of authentic traditional Balinese architecture. each stair is decorated with unique sculptures such as 2 giant Dragon statues and several statues of Mahabharata figures

This place is a favorite place for visitors because it is located at a height and has a beautiful view.

Tirta Gangga, The Heritage Building of Karangasem’s Kingdom

Tirta Gangga was a heritage water palace that built by Anak Agung Anglurah Ketut, King of Karangasem in 1946.

The place has a wide area of about 1,2 acres, which stretch out from the east to the west and is also surrounded by rice field areas.

There are two main attractions in the place namely: gardens and pools, which both look in well combination and are decorated by some Balinese statues.

The pools are inhabited by beautiful fishes in clear crystal water that comes from Rejasa’s Water Spring.

The visitors can explore the palace by walking down along neat footpath.

Tukad Cepung, Hidden Fabulous Waterfall behind Cliffs

Tukad Cepung, a fabulous waterfall in Penida Kelod Village, Tembuku District, Bangli Regency.

The waterfall has about 15 meters in height.

It sounds not too high but looks so unique than others because located in a hidden point behind the cliffs as a cave.

Especially at noon, you may get a beautiful panorama at the waterfall, as sunlight come up right at the top of the waterfall.

The panorama looks like a magical glow in the fairytale, and the visitors often use it as a photography background.
