Cold and Bumpy

Early mornings around Mount Batur can be cold, and the Jeep route includes rocky and uneven roads.

We recommend bringing a warm sweater or jacket, comfortable clothes, and solid shoes.

Mount Batur weather can change quickly. The selected sunrise viewpoint may vary depending on weather, local conditions, road conditions, and Jeep access.

If heavy rain or unsafe weather requires us to cancel the tour before hotel pickup, you may reschedule to another available date at no additional cost.

Foggy or misty conditions do not always mean the tour will be cancelled. The decision will depend on local conditions and safety.

Health and Children

This experience is not recommended for pregnant guests or guests with serious heart conditions or epilepsy because of the bumpy ride and uneven volcanic terrain.
