The pickup time is between 01:00 AM and 02:00 AM, depending on your hotel location. We will arrive at the trekking starting point at around 03:00 AM.

Before trekking, you will have your first breakfast and meet your local trekking guide. The guide will explain the trekking route before the hike begins.

The trekking usually starts at around 04:00 AM and takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours to reach the summit, depending on your walking pace.

Mount Batur is about 1,717 meters above sea level and is suitable for beginners with a reasonable level of fitness.

Because the trek starts before sunrise, a headlamp will be provided to help you see the rocky volcanic trail. On a clear morning, you can also enjoy the stars and moon before sunrise.

Enjoy Sunrise and Breakfast at the Summit

From the top of Mount Batur, you may enjoy beautiful views of Lake Batur, Mount Abang, Mount Agung, and the surrounding landscape. On a suitable morning, you may also see a spectacular sea of clouds.

The second breakfast will be served at the summit. It is a perfect time to recharge your energy while enjoying the sunrise and cool morning atmosphere.

Optional Buffet Lunch and Other Activities

After completing the trekking, guests can choose to add an Indonesian buffet lunch to the tour.

The lunch option is not included in the standard Mount Batur Sunrise Trekking package. It is available for guests who would like to enjoy a proper meal after the early-morning trekking.

Depending on the selected program, you can also visit Toya Devasya Hot Spring or a local coffee plantation.

The hot spring is a relaxing place to rest after trekking while enjoying views of the surrounding mountains and Lake Batur.

At the coffee plantation, you can learn about the local coffee-making process and taste several types of coffee and tea.
